The Life of Brian and Stephanie

Splinter this past Thursday passed his Canine Good Citizen test.  He has been training for this for quite some time now and he finally made it.  We had celebratory ice cream from Twsitee Treat and then took photos with his graduation hat given to us by Jackie at Petco.

This past weekend Petco had a pet & owner costume contest and Splinter took home 1st place!  Stephanie was captured by an evil knight but was saved by Splinter...one of the musketeers.  For first place, we got a neat ribbon and a $10 Petco gift card.

The other weekend there was a Founder's Day Festival and one of the days had a somewhat SPCA hosted event together with Doggie Cakes (a local dog bakery).  For a few dollars you get lunch and your dog gets lunch.  So we went to support SPCA and our friends at Doggie Cakes.  We even met up with some of Splinter's friends from puppy playtime and his group classes.  Splinter won a raffle with dog toys in a basket...and he even ended up on TV for a short spot.

We took some pictures of his toys because nobody believes me when I tell them he likes to take the eyes off his toys.  He also decided to take the head off of his chicken...wanted to see what "running around like a chicken with it's head cut off" actually looked like.
